We are delighted to welcome you again this year to the Oncodigest congress, which takes place between 8 and 10 November. The congress, which is composed of 3 symposiums – The French-Romanian Symposium on Digestive
Oncology, The Digestive Oncology Forum and The Association for studying Neuroendocrine Tumors Symposium, will take place in the beautiful mountain resort Predeal.
Predeal, the highest city in Romania (1030-1110m), is located in Prahova Valley, at the confluence between two historic regions – Muntenia and Transylvania, serving in the past as a border with the Austro-Hungarian empire.
The resort is well-known as an ideal touristic destination for recreation and winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding or sleighing.
Digestive Oncology, being an interface domain between different specialties, brings together specialists from various fields such as oncology, gastroenterology, surgery, radiology and pathology, whose collaboration is crucial for optimal management of the oncological patient.
Like in all previous years, we are enjoying a wide international participation. The French-Romanian Symposium on Digestive Oncology, at its 7th edition, brings together prestigious professors from France, such as Pr. Philippe Rougier, Pr. Thomas Aparicio, Pr. Marc Pocard, Dr. Nicolas Williet and Dr. Jean-Louis Legoux with important university professors and renowned physicians from Romania. In addition this year, we will have as a guest Dr. Răzvan Andrei Popescu from Tumor Center Aarau, Switzerland and member of the ESMO board.
We are looking forward to have all those interested in digestive oncology, a dynamic specialty that is constantly improving through all active research in this field. The presentations are organized in an interactive manner, with a balanced program that includes both presentations of the latest news from digestive oncology as well as clinical cases and discussions.
We take this opportunity to thank all those who made it possible for this event to take place.
On Belhalf of The Organising Committee,
Dr. Adina Croitoru
